Educational Therapy
Educational Therapy is a game-changer for children and young adults struggling with learning disabilities, attention deficits, or other disabilities that impact their academic success. We can help them outgrow their learning challenges and build confidence in their abilities. We work closely with families and schools to create a plan that addresses their unique issues.
CBT
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach to helping people recognize negative or dysfunctional thought and behavior patterns.
CBT aims to help you identify and explore how your emotions and thoughts affect your behaviors. Once you notice these patterns, you can learn to change your behaviors and develop new coping strategies.
CBT addresses the here and now and focuses less on the past.
Immigration Evaluation
Immigration Evaluation assesses an individual's mental and psychological well-being as part of the immigration process. It involves the evaluation of psychological factors, such as emotional stability, coping skills, and the absence of severe mental disorders, to determine an individual's suitability for immigration. These evaluations are often needed in cases where immigration authorities or visa programs require a comprehensive assessment of an individual's mental health status as part of the overall immigration screening process, particularly for immigration categories that involve significant life changes, such as refugee resettlement, family reunification, or employment-based immigration.
Speech-Language
Assessment
Speech-Language Assessment is a crucial tool in unlocking the full potential of children and teens. This remarkable service empowers young minds by evaluating their communication skills and linguistic development. Through a comprehensive array of tests and observations, speech-language assessment identifies any potential speech disorders, language delays, or communication challenges and paves the way for tailored interventions. By addressing these aspects early on, children and teens can embark on a journey of improved self-expression, enhanced academic success, and enriched social interactions.
Play Therapy
Playing is the way children explore the world and learn. Play therapy is a form of therapy used primarily for children. That’s because children may be unable to process their emotions or articulate problems to parents or other adults.
Through play, children naturally explore emotions and deal with unresolved problems. They can also learn new coping mechanisms and redirect inappropriate behaviors.
Early Intervention
Early Intervention services are designed to identify and address developmental delays, disabilities, or other challenges in children as early as possible. Here, neurodiverse learners (ASD) can receive the support and resources they need to reach their full potential and overcome any obstacles they may face. We provide evidence-based interventions that are tailored to your child's specific needs.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a robust and evidence-based therapy that can help individuals overcome the effects of trauma, anxiety, or other emotional difficulties. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can work through the negative emotions and experiences that may hold you back. Wheter you're struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression or other issues, we are here to help you.
Psychomotor Therapy
Psychomotor Therapy uses movement and play to help children develop their motor skills, cognitive abilities, and emotional well-being. It is a holistic approach to educational therapy that recognizes the mind's and body's interconnectedness. Psychomotor treatment can benefit children of all ages. Still, it is essential for children struggling with motor delays in walking, running, jumping, and writing. It can help these children develop the skills they need and reach their full potential by improving motor skills; psychomotor therapy can have many other long-term benefits, including improved cognitive function, enhanced emotional regulation, increased self-esteem, and improved academic performance.
